Junior Justin Crookston and sophomore Taylor Podob, both biological science majors at the Â鶹´«Ã½ at Greensburg, presented their research from an honors project in January.

Led by Assistant Professor Logan Johnson, the two studied drosophila — better known as fruit flies — as part of an honors designated genetics course at Pitt-Greensburg. Around 20 students attended the talk on their findings. The experience received funding support from Pitt-Greensburg’s Academic Village and the David C. Frederick Honors College.
