The City of Pittsburgh issued a Proclamation of Appreciation of pharmacists, student pharmacists and their teams for their care and support of their communities and neighbors. Officials from the city and Mayor Ed Gainey’s office presented the recognition at a Â鶹´«Ã½ Â鶹´«Ã½ of Pharmacy celebration on Oct. 20.
Pitt Pharmacy students independently started an initiative to recognize Pharmacy Appreciation Week in the city and sent an application to the mayor’s office to bring it to fruition.
