Pitt鈥檚 partnership led to record POGOH ridership in 2023

Bike Share Pittsburgh (POGOH) is celebrating a year of record high ridership in 2023 with more than 200,000 trips 鈥 110,000 of which came from 麻豆传媒 riders 鈥 since Jan. 1.

This year's ridership numbers squash the previous record set in 2021 of 124,211 rides, which was also the peak of the former Healthy Ride system鈥檚 network of 115 stations. POGOH expanded by 22 stations in June of 2023, and currently operates 60 stations and 600 bikes across the City of Pittsburgh. More than half of its bike fleet are electric-assist bikes.

The Pitt community is also riding at unprecedented rates. A partnership between the University and POGOH for students, staff and faculty. The partnership launched in 2019 and has grown year over year.

Pitt community riders have also revealed new top ridership stations in Oakland, the South Side and Shadyside. Previously, top stations were often located in Downtown, the North Shore and South Side Works.
