A multidisciplinary research group received a Pitt Momentum Grant

A multidisciplinary Pitt team has been awarded $60,000 from Pitt’s Momentum Grants program.

The team includes seven faculty members: Giuseppe Intini, Dobrawa Napierala and Juan Taboas from the Â鶹´«Ã½ of Dental Medicine; Deborah Galson and Peter Alexander from the Â鶹´«Ã½ of Medicine; Shilpa Sant from the Â鶹´«Ã½ of Pharmacy; and Partha Roy from the Swanson Â鶹´«Ã½ of Engineering.

The award will be used to advance the Pittsburgh Center for Interdisciplinary Bone and Mineral Research, a 73-member consortium of faculty members whose research interests converge around musculoskeletal disorders, bone injuries, osteoporosis, cancer and regenerative medicine.
