A three-member committee of NCSA judges called it a “wonderful piece of research and scholarship.â€

The book, co-authored with Anne Warfield Rawls, lays out the many ways in which racism is coded into the everyday social interactions of Americans.

“Tacit Racism,†published by University of Chicago Press, will be honored during an awards ceremony at NCSA’s April 1-2 meeting in Indianapolis, Indiana.
