Improve your mental health with these Pitt resources

While coping with the many stressors of daily life, students faculty and staff may need to reach out for help with their health and well-being. Here are resources offered by the University that everyone should know about.

For students and general information:Ìý°Õ³ó±ð (UCC) hosts self-help and wellness tools, virtual group counseling, wellness workshops and more.

 offers useful tips and resources to help you maintain your well-being and become your best self while at Pitt.

A confidential and interactive library of modules, , can help you learn life skills and manage the transition to college.

Togetherall is a free and anonymous peer-to-peer online community specifically for mental health and well-being concerns. Togetherall is available 24/7 and is monitored by trained clinicians. 

For employees and supervisors: offers support for employees, from reducing stress levels to discovering a better work-life balance. are listed on the Office of Human Resources website.

For suicide prevention: The UCC’s are available for anyone who is struggling. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or Pitt Police (412-624-2121) immediately.

For those with UPMC insurance: Pitt and UPMC offer online resources for emotional and mental well-being, including health coaches and activities that can earn money for future copays and medical expenses. There’s also the new , a digital wellness application that supports members with depression management and health and wellness challenges by offering real-time coping techniques to users, enhanced with personal health coaching to aid improvement.Â
