Go birdwatching in Bradford

Enjoy some crisp fall weather with a guided bird hike on the Pitt-Bradford campus, led by local bird expert John Fedack. First, Fedack will give a talk on birdwatching, then he’ll take the group birding in the 200-acre forested Quintuple Mountain property on the south edge of campus.

Join the Homecoming festivities

Monday, Oct. 3, to Sunday, Oct. 9

with a week of events — starting with a 2 p.m. kick-off event for students at the William Pitt Union Plaza, the festivities include a scavenger hunt, painting night, TED-style keynote talks, fireworks and of course Pitt football taking on Virginia Tech on Sunday, Oct. 8.

Learn about trans health care

The 2022 TransPride Health and Wellness Conference aims to educate health care professionals and community members on care for gender-diverse individuals. Speakers will discuss health care needs across a number of areas, with keynote talks on topics like gender-affirming surgery and transgender justice.

Hack together a health care solution

Interested in health or tech? Sponsored by the Pitt Â鶹´«Ã½ of Pharmacy, students in the Pitt Challenge Hackathon will gather in teams of up to four to implement a tech-based solution to an important issue in health care in a single weekend, competing for thousands of dollars in prizes.
