The Teaching Survey period is underway and as the University progresses through the shelter-in-place period, faculty members are instrumental in encouraging students to complete the surveys.Ìý

Research has shown that the most effective way to receive quality feedback is to communicate the importance of the survey process to students.

Here are five ways for faculty members to do that today:Ìý

• Send personal emails encouraging students to participate.
• Ìýto your course(s) in Canvas.Ìý
• Show students where they canÌý.Ìý
• Talk to students about how toÌý.Ìý
• Give examples of how you've used student feedback in the past in your course(s).
